Dele Momodu to Buhari: Don't allow despicable politicians tarnish your hard-earned reputation.

The ovation publisher Chief Dele Momodu, an ardent supporter of President Buhari and the change campaign has expressed some of his disappointments and dissatisfactions with the President Buhari-led administration and some of the "change" we have experienced so far. Quite an interesting article and some key points that I personally identify with. He proffered some solutions on how to deal with selfish politicians with zero national interest.  According to Chief Momodu "the fight is for cash and not for any selfless service" "Many won't bother to contest if they think it is not lucrative". Famous Football Star Emmanuel Adebayo Opens Up On family Feud.

Togolese football star Emmanuel Adebayo, has opened up on his own version of the long family feud that has existed between himself and other members of his family. He gave a detailed narrative of what has been going on in his family from many years ago and how things developed until this point. It is indeed a touching story. Sometimes African families do put a lot of pressure on family members who seem to be doing well to the point that such a person almost becomes apologetic for actually succeeding. Read his version of the story below.

SEA, I have kept these stories for a long time but I think today it is worth sharing some of them with you. It's true that family matters should be solved internally and not in public but I am doing this so that hopefully all families can learn from what happened in mine. Also keep in mind that none of this is about money.

The Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria has issued a statement, condemning the alleged anti-Igbo statement made by the Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, when Igbo leaders in Lagos visited him on Sunday.
Read full statement below:
PRESS STATEMENT REACTING TO OBA AKIOLU’S CURSE ON THE IGBOS IN LAGOS
“At the national offices of Caritas Nigeria and Justice Development and Peace Commission, we are totally shocked to read about the threat handed down by Oba Akiolu to the Igbos in Lagos. While it is understandable that a Royal Father would want for his wishes to be carried out, we are deeply concerned that the royal father is missing the point that Nigeria is a republic and a democracy and not a monarchy.

Femi Fani-Kayode Responds To Oba of Lagos.

The Oba of Lagos' threat against the Igbos in Lagos that if they do not vote for the APC in the governorship elections on Saturday they should be ready for the consequences and that if they don't vote for Ambode they should be ready to perish in the lagoon is ominous and unacceptable.
The truth is that we were threatened with ethnic cleansing and religious carnage in the north had Buhari not won the election on march 28th and had Jonathan not quickly conceded defeat and now our traditional supporters are being threatened in Lagos and in many other states.

I will not discriminate against any religious or ethnic group - Ambode

Following an alleged statement by the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu threatening to deal with the Igbos should they sabotage his efforts or refuse to vote for the APC gubernatorial candidate Akinwunmi Ambode in the forth coming election, Mr. Ambode has released a statement re-assuring that his government would be all embracing and non-tribalistic.
